Janice King is a fiber artist and writer who has long had a deep sense of place in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. Her work encompasses art quilting, textile collage and art knitting, combining new with rescued or repurposed materials.
For the artEAST community art center in Issaquah, Washington, Janice was an exhibit artist, curator, and community programming organizer for multiple shows. She also cofounded the Eastside Art Quilters group, is a long-time nature walk leader, and author of the local walking guidebook, Eastside Seattle Walks.
